Dan Oftedahl Promoted to National Vice President of Sales for Voluntary Benefits

We are pleased to announce Dan Oftedahl as National Vice President of Sales at ManhattanLife! Dan joined the ManhattanLife team in April 2022. With his wide-ranging experience and natural amiability, Dan has become a true pillar of the Voluntary Benefits segment. In his first role at the company, he served as East Region Vice President of Sales for Voluntary Benefits, overseeing the East Region division.

From his office in Minnesota, Dan has provided his one-of-a-kind expertise each week, collaborating extensively with his colleagues and prioritizing relationships with our valued agents.

In his new role as National Vice President of Sales, Dan will help oversee the VB line across the United States and preserve the high quality of our products. With careful planning and persistence, he will work alongside others on his team to drive expansion. Senior Vice President and Chief Sales Officer Dan Robson had this to say of Dan Oftedahl: “Everyone who knows Dan and works with him can attest to the indelible imprint he has made on this organization in his current role. It’s the right time, and he is undoubtedly the right leader to guide our Voluntary Benefits business to new heights.”

Originally from a small farming community, Dan understands the synergy between human connection and hard work, knowing full well that both can yield success for everyone. Regarding his new position, he said: “I’m thrilled and beyond optimistic about the evolution of the VB products line. I’m grateful for the opportunity to join forces with more of my colleagues, while meeting with other agents from different areas of the country, who have clients with different needs. Employee benefits are as vital as ever, and I really look forward to helping bring our first-rate products to more people.”

We are excited about Dan’s well-deserved promotion and continued growth at ManhattanLife. Many congratulations, Dan!
