ManhattanLife Mortgage Lending is a life insurance company mortgage lender. We originate first lien loans for commercial properties being purchased or refinanced. Competitive and flexible, we offer custom financing for our borrowers. What makes us unique is our straightforward origination process. Asset Criteria
The types of assets we finance include office, medical office, light industrial/warehouse, retail, multi-family and specialty purpose properties. Geographically we lend in primary, secondary and tertiary markets across all 50 states, with a focus on metropolitan areas with populations of 250,000+. ManhattanLife Mortgage Lending offers loans for recently renovated or new Class A & B commercial real estate with long term leases and stabilized occupancy.
Our Lending Guidelines
We lend from $1MM - $15MM per transaction. We offer up to 75% loan to value for borrowers with strong financials. Our loan terms span from 5-, 7- or 10-year terms with a 25-year amortization. We provide fixed rate financing with a declining prepayment penalty. Additionally, we do not charge origination fees or application fees. ManhattanLife maintains and services all loans we originate, thereby creating closer relationships with our borrowers.
