ManhattanLife Assurance Company of America

In 2017, Central United Life changed its name to ManhattanLife Assurance Company of America to better support our ManhattanLife brand. Central United Life Insurance Company started out in 1963 as a subsidiary of Central Mutual Insurance. In 1993, Central United became part of the ManhattanLife group of companies. In 2012, Central United Life was listed on the Life-Health Ward’s 50® Companies list. To make Ward’s 50® Companies, an insurer must demonstrate superior performance, including a measured ability to grow and maintain financial stability, over a five-year period.

Now, Central United Life is continuing its excellence as ManhattanLife Assurance Company of America, providing life insurance, group and individual health and accident benefits, and cancer insurance for today’s policyholder.
