ManhattanLife is delighted to welcome Laura Keith as Director of Marketing Communications! After receiving her Marketing degree from Texas State University, she began working as an intern for Axiom in 2011. Over the past decade, Laura’s ingenuity and talents led to a wealth of experience and eventually to the position of Group Account Director in her last role. Laura worked as the main client contact for her accounts and helped drive numerous projects forward for clients across various industries, including messaging, full rebrands, launches, collateral, animations, social media and more.
In 2019, Laura began her relationship with ManhattanLife by working on our rebrand, with subsequent projects that included Wall Street Journal ads, the Producer Spotlight Series, and our 175th anniversary campaign.
Laura began her position as Director of Marketing Communications for ManhattanLife in September 2025. Among other responsibilities, she will help oversee and fortify our organization’s brand, ensure marketing collateral quality control, and further develop internal and external communications. About her new role, Laura stated, “I am very excited to be welcomed to the ManhattanLife team! I have admired the company for many years and have really enjoyed getting to know team members over the last 6 years. Now I am looking forward to working with everyone more closely.”
As a native Texan, Laura is no stranger to the supplemental health and life industry’s presence in the state. She recognizes the growing need for our products locally and nationally, and how ManhattanLife is positioned to meet this need. She has arrived with objectives in mind that include helping us expand our brand awareness to reach producer and policyholder markets via integrated campaigns, while ensuring brand consistency and messaging for internal and external audiences. Additionally, she intends to examine new avenues and tactics to further push the ManhattanLife brand out to market. Laura’s preparation and sharpness are readily valued, as Chief Marketing Officer, Todd Hayden, stated, “Laura has worked extensively with us for the past 6 years on our branding campaign and with that comes an intimate knowledge of our company, our marketing strategy and, most importantly, our extensive distribution network of partners. I’m excited to see our next generation of marketing evolve.”
Laura’s reverence for language and her great interest in effective communication extend beyond her position. One of Laura’s favorite pastimes is reading and getting swept away in a good book, while becoming engrossed with a storyline. Another activity she enjoys is cooking with her family and experimenting with different cuisines.
